About microdot

Infrastructure with a clear point of responsibility.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2005, microdot grew from a background in business IP services, broadband networks and telecommunications. That experience developed into the practical, hands-on role it has today: bringing networks, workplace systems and physical security together.

Established 2005

Two decades of continuity, accumulated knowledge and long-term client relationships.

Based Amsterdam

Supporting organisations on location and remotely, in Amsterdam and elsewhere in the Netherlands.

Perspective Integrated

Network, Wi‑Fi, voice, office systems and physical security considered together.

How we think

Good infrastructure should feel uneventful.

01

Start with the place

The building, organisation and daily work determine the solution—not a predefined list of products.

02

See the whole

Systems are more reliable when their dependencies are understood and considered as part of the same environment.

03

Keep it proportionate

The right solution is capable enough for the requirement without introducing avoidable cost or complexity.

04

Remain accountable

Installation is not the end of the relationship. Monitoring, maintenance and support preserve the result.

A direct relationship

Technical depth without organisational distance.

Clients work with someone who understands both the original decisions and the current environment. That continuity makes diagnosis faster and responsibility clearer.

The relationship is personal; the work remains the focus.
Careful implementation, clear communication and infrastructure that performs as expected.

Then and now

Technology changes. The responsibility does not.

microdot’s work began with internet access, VPNs, VoIP, managed firewalls and other early business IP services. Since then, the tools and scope have evolved to include managed cloud services, connected security and modern network platforms. The underlying task remains the same: understand what the organisation depends on, make it dependable and be available when it needs attention.

Let’s talk about the infrastructure behind your work.
